The Medelserhütte SAC is a classic alpine stage hut located high above the Val Medel (Lucmagn), close to the Lukmanier Pass, in the Canton of Graubünden. Positioned on an important north–south alpine axis, it serves primarily as a base for alpine hiking, long-distance traverses, and ski mountaineering, rather than as a technical climbing hut. Its character is functional, quiet, and strongly oriented toward route continuity.

The Capanna Buffalora is a small, remote mountain hut located in the Val Mora, a high and secluded valley on the border between Graubünden (Engadin) and Italy. Surrounded by wide alpine meadows, gentle ridges, and an atmosphere of isolation, it serves primarily as a stage hut for long-distance hikers and trekkers exploring one of the most unspoiled regions of Eastern Switzerland.
