Rottalhütte SAC – High-Alpine Hut & Jungfrau Summit Base

The Rottalhütte SAC is a small, demanding high-alpine hut located high above the Rottal Valley, on the southern flank of the Jungfrau massif. It is best known as the classic Swiss base for the ascent of the Jungfrau (4,158 m) via the Rottalsattel route. Remote, exposed, and uncompromising, this hut is reserved for experienced alpinists only.
