Introduction

The Lidernenhütte SAC is a popular and well-positioned alpine hut above Riemenstalden, in the Canton of Schwyz. Set on a scenic terrace at the edge of rugged limestone terrain, it is widely used as a hiking base, training hut, and family-friendly alpine destination.

The Glattalphütte SAC is a distinctive alpine hut located on the vast Glattalp karst plateau, above the Muotathal in the Canton of Schwyz. Known for its wild limestone landscape, sinkholes, and remote atmosphere, the hut serves as a base for alpine hiking, karst exploration, and demanding non-glaciated routes.

The Bockmattlihütte is a traditional mountain hut located in the Muotathal region of the Canton of Schwyz, beneath the rugged limestone walls of the Bockmattli. Known for its dramatic karst scenery and strong local character, it serves primarily as a hiking and climbing base in the Schwyz Alps rather than as a high-glacier or 4,000-m hub.
