Rugghubelhütte SAC – Alpine Hut & Engelberg High-Hiking Base
The Rugghubelhütte SAC is a well-positioned alpine hut above the Engelberg valley, on the border between Obwalden and Nidwalden. Known for its wide panoramas and relatively accessible approach, it functions primarily as a high-alpine hiking and stage hut, while also serving as a base for scrambles and more demanding routes in the Engelberg Alps.
