Domhütte SAC – High-Alpine Hut & 4,000 m Summit Base
The Domhütte SAC is one of the most important high-alpine huts in Switzerland, spectacularly located above the Mattertal, at the foot of the Mischabel Group. It is the classic and almost exclusive base for ascents of the Dom (4,545 m)—the highest mountain entirely on Swiss territory—as well as several other major 4,000-metre peaks. This hut is a cornerstone of serious alpine mountaineering in the Valais.

Demanding, remote, and deeply alpine, it represents commitment, preparation, and the highest ambitions of mountaineering in Switzerland.
