The Chamanna da Tschierva CAS (Tschiervahütte) is one of the most important high-alpine huts in the Bernina Group, located high above the Val Roseg in the Upper Engadin. It is the classic starting point for the ascent of Piz Bernina (4,049 m) via the Biancograt, one of the most famous snow-and-ice ridges in the Alps. The hut is serious, technical in purpose, and firmly oriented toward experienced alpinists.

The Chamanna da Grialetsch CAS (Grialetschhütte) is a high-alpine stage hut set at the head of the Val Dischma, above Davos, on an important east–west alpine axis in Graubünden. Remote, quiet, and strategically positioned, it serves as a key link for long-distance hikers and ski tourers, and as a practical base for non-technical high-alpine routes rather than technical climbing.

The Chamanna da Boval CAS (also known as Bovalhütte) is one of the most scenic alpine huts in the Bernina Group, overlooking the dramatic Morteratsch Glacier in the Upper Engadin. Unlike purely technical high-alpine huts, it combines spectacular glacier views with relatively accessible hiking, making it a landmark destination for both strong hikers and alpinists heading toward higher objectives.

The Chamanna Coaz CAS is a classic high-alpine hut set deep in the Val Roseg (Upper Engadin), at the heart of the Bernina Group. Surrounded by glaciers and iconic 4,000-metre peaks, it serves as a primary base for glacier travel, alpine ascents, and long high-mountain traverses. Serious, remote, and purpose-built, it is aimed squarely at experienced alpinists.
