Refuge-Igloo des Pantalons Blancs – High-Alpine Refuge & Glacier Traverse Base

The Refuge-Igloo des Pantalons Blancs is a small, remote high-alpine refuge located above the Val d’Anniviers, in the heart of heavily glaciated terrain near the Pantalons Blancs Glacier. Known for its austere setting and functional design, it serves primarily as a transit and safety shelter for experienced alpinists undertaking long glacier traverses and demanding alpine routes.
