Hörnlihütte – Iconic Summit Base of the Matterhorn

The Hörnlihütte is one of the most famous mountain huts in the world, dramatically positioned at the base of the Hörnligrat, the classic normal route to the Matterhorn (4,478 m). It is the primary and almost exclusive base for Matterhorn ascents from the Swiss side, combining historic significance, strict logistics, and an intense high-alpine atmosphere.
