Oberaletschhütte SAC – Historic High-Alpine Hut & Aletsch Balcony Viewpoint
The Oberaletschhütte SAC is a historic and dramatically positioned alpine hut overlooking the Great Aletsch Glacier, the largest glacier in the Alps. Perched on a rocky spur above the ice, it offers one of the most impressive panoramic viewpoints in the Jungfrau–Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage region. Unlike deep-glacier traverse huts, it combines serious alpine access with a strong scenic and educational value.
