The Martinsmadhütte SAC is a remote and characterful alpine hut situated in the heart of the Kärpf region of the Glarus Alps, one of Switzerland’s oldest wildlife protection areas. Isolated and far from mechanical access, it serves primarily as a stage hut for experienced alpine hikers and long-distance trekkers, offering wide high-plateau landscapes, silence, and a strong sense of wilderness rather than technical mountaineering.
