The Cabane du Mont Fort CAS is a large and very accessible alpine hut located above Verbier, at the gateway to the high terrain of the Val de Bagnes. Thanks to its position near lift infrastructure and major trail networks, it serves as a versatile base for hiking, ski touring, and long-distance alpine itineraries. While not a technical mountaineering hut, it plays an important logistical role for multi-day routes and high-plateau explorations.
